From October 7th to 11th 2019 our Autnum School “Advanced 
Measurement Tediques in Different Flow Fields” took place at Aalborg University (AAU). Students from TU Berlin and NTNU Trondheim participated in the programme which included 10 lectures, exercises and experiments as well as after class activities and an excursion.
The presented topics ranged from fluid flow measurements, Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), to an in-depth series of lectures about temperature measurements, volume and mass flow measurements accompanied by practical laboratory exercises and CFD simulation.
At the end of the course, students had to prepare an experiment as group work and hold presentations. The school was completed with a written exam.
