A collaborative Winter School customized by the Department of Fluid System Dynamics of Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) and the Department of Energy and Process Engineering of Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) took place at TUB in Berlin in the week of the 7th to the 11th December 2015. In eight lectures, six teachers taught the principles and specialties of Flow Measurement Methods. In addition to this, an excursion to the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) was held. “We found the excursion exciting.” explained the TUB-student Julien Lecompagnon.
All in all, eighteen students from NTNU, PTB and TUB participated in the Winter School. According to the students, especially the combination of theory and praxis succeeded exceedingly.
Also, the international working environment was a diversified experience for the students. The TUB-student Florian Heining reported: “Definitely informative. It was interesting to meet students from other countries, to work with them and to have lessons held in English.”
