The Nordic Water Network (NWN) kindly invites professors and PhD-candidates from Northern European countries to Berlin. The occasion: the first NWN-Conference on Management of Urban Water Systems.

Language: The conference will be held in English.

The conference´s goal is to provide a platform where professors and their PhD-Candidates from different Northern European countries can meet and exchange experience and knowledge. This will be implemented by the program of the conference:

Program Day I, November 10th 2016, 10 am – 6 pm

After a short introduction each PhD candidate will be provided a 30 minutes timeslot for their thesis. The doctoral candidates will give interim presentations of their dissertation projects and will than receive feedback from the audience.
At the end of the day all participants will be invited to a joint dinner in the laboratory of TU Berlin´s fluid system dynamics department.

Program Day II, November 11th 2016, 9 am – 1 pm

The second day will focus on “Storm Water Management”. As a follow-up to the professor´s workshop in March all participants are welcome to join the discussion about future cooperation and joint research in the field.
The conference will end with a joint lunch and hopefully a lot of helpful impressions and ideas/plans for collaboration.
